Online Training Program

Information/Cyber Security

During Covid-19

Session on: 19 – 20 Feb, 2021

The information has become an asset for any organization with a rider of vulnerability due to the very reasons it has become an asset. However, as organizations pass & store more and more private, sensitive, and confidential information through the IT systems, they must take steps to secure and protect their databases and IT systems. Failure to do so may result in huge business losses, fines, lawsuits, and or attacks from cyber villains.

The advent of the pandemic COVID-19 has made the information security situation much more vulnerable. As per the information provided by CERT-In, a government of India watchdog on information/cybersecurity, they have handled about 7 lakhs cybersecurity incidents between January and August 2020, which is an increase of about 264% compared to the figures pertaining to 2019 for the same period.
